Each hand pressed glass piece features a smooth polished top through which you can see a detailed intaglio image, molded into the back of the stone. The intaglio carving is then painted and the surrounding surface is cut or polished to remove excess color and highlight the image. a final addition of a vitrail medium coating finishes the effect NOTE: Due to the age and nature of these stones, expect some imperfections.
