Millefiori means ""thousand flowers"" in italian. This intricate glass making technique originated in ancient Rome and was perfected by Venetian artisans. These millefiori glass donuts have a round smooth shape and a large center opening. Each donut exhibits a pattern of colors based upon the glass canes used.
